Our Experience

J Lade Heaton is an active licensed experienced attorney in
the Salt Lake City & Park City area of Utah, USA where he
maintains his private practice and residency.

He received his Juris Doctorate in from the University of
Utah. He is currently a member and in good standing of
the Utah State Supreme Court, the United States District
Court for Utah & the United States Supreme Court.

Besides a private practice, Mr. Heaton has served as
Associate General Counsel for the Utah State Legislature,
house counsel for a mining company, a Hearing Examiner
for property tax assessment appeals for the Board of
Equalization for Salt Lake County, a certified commercial and
personal real estate appraiser, and an adjunct, or full time
professor.

He was awarded a Fulbright Teaching Scholar position in
Ukraine, teaching business law and business ethics. While in
Ukraine he was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor
Honoris Causa.

Mr. Heaton has taught Business Law, Business Ethics,
Business Formations, & Estate Planing in various capacities.

Currently Mr. Heaton is a visiting senior lecturer / professor
in the United Arab Emirates at the American University of
Sharjah where he is teaching business law. business ethics,
& other business law issues.
